If you’ve not heard of Grace Anna, you’re going to want to! She has over a million followers on Facebook thanks to her incredible vocals. Grace Anna’s National Anthem is what’s capturing the hearts of the nation (sorry Fergie).
This adorable little girl from Kentucky was born with a rare form of dwarfism called Conradi-Hünermann syndrome. But despite her many health struggles, Grace Anna is a shining star that lights up a room with her effervescent personality and warm nature.
Grace Anna’s National Anthem performances came with a friendly reminder to be kind to each other
Last week, Grace stunned the crowd with her rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner. Many people on Facebook shared the video and commented things like “this is how it’s done Fergie”.
But Grace Anna’s mother wanted to put the harsh comments towards Fergie to one side. Grace Anna asked her mom if she could listen to Fergie’s version to see what people were saying. But Grace, in all her good nature, had the sweetest reply.
“Momma, she’s beautiful and she sang it amazing. People shouldn’t tell her she did an awful job, that’s just not nice.”
Grace’s mom immediately realized that people could learn a lot from her kind-hearted daughter. Fergie tried something new, it didn’t go too great but that doesn’t mean that she’s a bad person. Sometimes, it just takes a little girl to remind adults to be nicer to each other.
