Hospitals are rough, especially for kids. If you don’t like being ill, a hospital makes it feel worse, despite the fact they’ll do their best to make you better. These kids were in a children’s hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries. But, luckily for them, Spider-Man (aka Tom Holland) was on hand to cheer them up!
Tom Holland met with loads of children and superhero fans in the hospital. His co-stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Zendaya also joined him. They all turned up in costume (although Zendaya’s looks pretty normal as MJ) to treat the kids to a day they’ll never forget.
Introducing himself by saying “Hey, what’s up guys? How you doing? I’m Spider-Man”, and you can see the excitement on the kids’ faces. One of the children reacts so adorably, and tells the British actor “I love you”.
Tom Holland also proved that he might just be the real Spider-Man by performing a backflip for the kids – no special effects needed! Impressive. Luckily, co-star Gyllenhaal was playing nice, despite the fact he was dressed as anti-hero Mysterio. Kids seemed to love them both, but Spider-Man took most of the plaudits.
The children were then treated to a special advance screening of Spider-Man: Far From Home. Holland, Gyllenhaal and Zendaya all star in the movie, and undoubtedly made these kids’ days just by stopping by.
