What’s the best thing about dogs? Their loyalty? Their kindness? Or just how darn cute they are? If it’s the latter, you’re in luck. This is the article for you. Ever wanted to see 19 photos of the cutest Shiba Inu playing in flowers? That’s a silly question really. Take it away, Hachi.

Hachi’s mom Masayo Ishizuki is a photographer also known as ISSY-RIDER. She came up with the brilliant idea of photographing Hachi in the Hitachi Seaside Park in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture. This park is famous for its beautiful flowerbeds. Masayo knew that her Shiba Inu Hachi loved coming here and playing in the flowers anyway, so why not take some photos of him?

She even created an Instagram page for Hachi, because he looked so cute. Masayo said she did it because “he looks really sharp in flowers and is ridiculously cute.”

She’s not the only one who thinks so. The Shiba Inu has nearly 20,000 followers on social media. And you can see why. His adorable, happy face just makes you happy too.

Hachi is a rescue dog. Masayo got him from a shelter and has been teaching him to interact with other dogs. It was scary for him at first, and he was quite skittish. However, things have improved and he’s a lot happier now. “He was very scared of dogs, but now he is very friendly with everyone,” Kasayo said.

He’s obviously happier in his own fur now.

Shiba Inus are so ingrained in Japanese culture that they have three different words to describe “the essence of a Shibu Inu”. The first is kan-i, meaning bravery and alertness. The second is ryosei, meaning loyalty, kindness, and obedience. The third is soboku, which means their natural good looks and cuteness.

Hachi obviously embodies all three words and looks like the perfect pup. However, we think he embodies soboku the most.
