In the small city of Cesena in northern Italy, one man set a goal to get his favourite band to play in his hometown. After some phone calls and a lot of organisation, he was ready to make his plea.
Fabio Zaffagnini dreamed of being able to see the Foo Fighters live but knew there was an incredibly slim chance of them performing in Cesena, a city that would normally struggle to book global artists to perform there.
With this in mind, he knew it would be a stretch, so he decided to get a little creative. He contacted as many Italian musicians as he could to collaborate in one of the biggest jam sessions he could possibly create.
The 1000 strong band members went viral with the performance, reaching over 38 million views on YouTube. Watch the video below to see their incredible rendition.
