We’ve all got that special someone who, when we hear their voice, makes us smile. Whether it’s friends or partners or family, some people just make us happy. And usually, family comes first. You mom and dad are the people most of us grew up smiling with, and they often make you smile. As for this newborn, she immediately knew who her dad was.
Flávio Dantas is a new father from Brazil. But, he made a point of talking to his unborn child every day. He would lean in towards his wife’s pregnancy bump and have conversations with his unborn daughter.
“He always told her that he loved her so much,” said his partner Tarsila Batista. And it looks like it worked out well!
However, when his daughter Antonella arrived, he was in for a big surprise. The midwife handed the sleepy baby over to her new mom, and Flávio started repeating the things he’d been saying through the pregnancy.
“They put her on top of me sleeping and as soon as he spoke to her, Antonella opened her eyes and smiled,” explained Tarsila.
Luckily, someone was there to catch the amazing moment on camera! What’s more, Antonella arrived on August 11, which is Father’s Day in Brazil!

“I thought I knew what a feeling of true love was until I looked at that most sincere smile in the world … it was [there] that I could be sure what love is,” said Flávio.
Newborn Antonella evidently recognised her daddy’s voice and loved it! She’ll sure grow up in a happy family, and her parents will always make her smile.
