What is the best song ever written? Now there’s a discussion. But whatever your music tastes, it’s highly likely that Bohemian Rhapsody is up there. I mean, it’s got 4 music genres in the song! If you like pop, opera, or rock, there’s a bit for you! Well, these moms may have created an even better version of the hit Queen song.
Of course, that is entirely subjective and possibly anti-Queen propaganda, but it is very good. The three moms performed their version, called “Mommy Rhapsody” at their local church. It may be the best Mother’s Day service we have ever seen, so next year has a lot to live up to!
The whole performance is expertly staged, the lyrics are funny, and it is overwhelmingly light-hearted fun. Moms, and dads, out there will really relate to it. But, if you are a kid, it might give you an insight into what your mom goes through every day.
Everyone who was in the congregation was bursting with laughter and saw the funny side to the everyday struggles of your average moms. However, with production values looking straight from Broadway, we can’t wait to see this as a full stage show!
Packed full of laugh out loud moments, we could see this working on the big(ger) stage. Somebody hire these moms to write a full musical! What next, “Mom-body To Love”? We like to think that Queen would approve of this use of their songs, but we guess we’ll never know.
There’s not a lot else to say about “Mommy Rhapsody” without ruining the surprise, so go ahead and watch the humorous video! Do be aware there are flashing lights and a lot of mentions of children going to the toilet in places they shouldn’t. However, if that doesn’t bother you, prepare to chuckle. We promise that you’ll laugh.
