Whenever I see a ‘lost cat’ or ‘missing dog’ poster, it makes me feel sad. There’s nothing worse than losing a beloved member of your family. You search the streets, hoping and praying that you’ll find them. But at what point do you give up hope and call it a day?
For one man, he thought he’d never find his beloved dog again. 62-year-old Giorgi Bereziani from Georgia was heartbroken after he lost his dog, Jorge, three years ago.
The 62-year-old spent days looking for his dog in the hopes of reuniting with him. Sadly, as the days went on, hope was lost. However, 3 years later, Giorgi was about to receive a phone call that would change his life forever.
An opera house worker in Tbilisi, Georgia, called him up one day when I thought he saw a dog that matched the description of Giorgi’s missing dog. The opera house worker said he spotted the dog laying outside of her shop.
Man finds his dog after three years without seeing him
The footage shows the incredible moment when a man finds his dog after three years and the reunion is all too sweet. Giorgi slowly approaches the dog laying under a tree on the street. He hoped and prayed that it would be his dog. Thankfully, it was!
It looks so much like him, can you see him?
As he gets closer, Giorgi then says “Can you see him? Here at the base of the tree. Jorge? Jorge, it is you!”
The dog hears his name and looks up at Giorgi. You can see he’s pretty confused at first, he recognizes him, but can’t quite place where from.
The dog slowly walks over to Giorgi and after inspecting his scent, Jorge realized exactly who it was and he began to jump up at the man with joy.
Aww sweet boy, how are you boy. What is it? What do you want? Sweet boy.
The years of putting up posters and checking the streets for Jorge finally paid off. Giorgi had his dog back at last. You may need a tissue on hand when you watch their reunion.
