Irish Dancers Line Up In Formation, But When The Music Keep Your Eyes Firmly On Their Feet

By - 16th February 2018

Irish dancing is always epic to watch, and this routine by the Fusion Fighters is an extravaganza of fancy footwork and thunderous beats.  Irish dance is an underrated dance form that people don’t immediately think of when they’re asked to name a dance style. But the fast paced, elaborate dancing style is incredibly challenging and always captivating to watch; you can never take your eyes off the dancer’s feet.

In this video from the 2017 Irish Dance World Championship, the Fusion Fighters, led by founder Chris Naish, perform their flawless routine for the audience and blow everyone away.

Incorporating moments of solo dances, small groups and huge ensemble moments, the routine goes through so many levels that it is a whole show in itself.

Chris said that due to their busy schedules they struggled to find time to rehearse the routine, so the performance was a bit risky. But you never could have guessed based on this amazing performance. If this performance is what they can do when under-rehearsed, then I can’t even imagine how good their dancing is when they feel fully prepared.

Try not to get too dizzy as you watch their feet flail about in this fast-paced routine. Just wait for when they all come together on the stage at the end…
