I do love discovering a new talented singer – and this one absolutely blew me out of the park. You may never have heard of her, but you won’t forget her in a hurry – this is Christina Ramos.
Christina Ramos auditioned for The Voice: Mexico and she truly knew how to put on a show. In fact, within the first few notes of her song, all four judges turned around to watch her stellar performance.
But that wasn’t all she had up her sleeves, oh no, Christina Ramos wanted to show all four judges just how truly talented she is as a vocalist.
She started out by singing the classical operatic piece ‘La Traviata’ by Giuseppe Verdi. She stood onstage in an elegant red ballgown and as she opened her mouth, she let out one impressive note and all four judges turned for her.
Each of the judges watched in awe. In fact, one of the judges had her mouth open in shock for the whole performance.
Then Christina Ramos surprised the judges by taking them on a journey that none of them expected
Midway through her beautiful performance, Christina tugged on the shoulder of her dress and tore it off, revealing a short, sequinned blue dress underneath.
At that moment, Ramos began to belt out an incredible rock rendition of ‘It’s Raining Men’ by The Weathergirls.
