Andrea Bocelli is one of those spectacular vocalists that has a strong legacy when it comes to music. It’s very rare to find someone that doesn’t like his musical stylings or at least one of his songs.
But now, Andrea seems to be introducing his family into his music. His son Matteo Bocelli also loves singing and getting to duet with his dad is like a dream. The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree and you can clearly hear how much of a musical influence Matteo’s father has been on him.
It’s not hard to see why many people compare Matteo’s singing to that of his father’s. Andrea Bocelli and Matteo are both classically trained singers. But they don’t just sing classical music, in fact, sometimes they like to sing some modern hits and give them the Bocelli magic.

Andrea Bocelli is no stranger to singing with modern artists. He’s previously sung with Ariana Grande and he’s also recorded a duet with Ed Sheeran. But Andrea decided to revisit some of Sheeran’s music for his father-son duet.
Andrea Bocelli and Matteo both decided to sing “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran and their rendition is utterly beautiful. While Andrea may be the star, he sings in the background to give Matteo the spotlight this time.
The 20-year-old toned down his classical vocals to add a more soothing tone to the Ed Sheeran hit, reminiscent of the British singer himself. Once Matteo finished his solo, Andrea stepped forward to belt out the song. But Andrea opted to sing the song in Italian which gave the song a really beautiful and romantic atmosphere.
