December is the gift that just keeps on giving. Not only is the holiday spirit filling our hearts, but we’re also finding lots of awesome new treats to keep us entertained over the festive period. But our number 1 must-have gift to ourselves has to be the My Talking Pet app which we recently discovered.
On Saturday, we were watching an episode of Michael McIntyre’s Big Show on BBC One in England. A festive comedy/cabaret show where we see pranks, live performances and comedy routines.
But one of the most popular segments in the show is a piece called ‘Send To All’. The host, Michael McIntyre, takes a celebrity guest’s phone and he sends out an embarrassing/egotistical/funny text message which gets sent to all their contacts in their phone.
After a short while, they revisit the celebrity’s phone to see what responses they have to the awkward text message. It gets a lot of laughs and it is pretty darn funny.
Josh Groban loves using My Talking Pet and now we’re obsessed with it
Before Michael sent a text from his willing victim, Josh Groban, he had a quick browse through the apps on his phone.
He stopped on an app called My Talking Pet where you upload pictures of your animals and you can talk and make it look like they’re saying things.
I have to admit, it looked pretty funny, so of course. We downloaded it for ourselves… Goodbye December – we think we may have found our new obsession.
The best thing about the app is that you can make all of your favourite pets and animals be granted the gift of vocals. Not only that but you can change the pitch to give them the deepest or highest pitched voice imaginable.
I would strongly recommend you all give it a whirl, we can’t stop ourselves now! Send us your creations, we’d love to see what you all can come up with!
