The Royal Wedding has been quite the adventure this week. Despite a lot of people claiming that they didn’t care about the occasion, it seemed that over 2 billion people watched the Royal Wedding, either on television or on the streets of London. One little girl from Belfast was definitely excited for the big day. But Lola’s Royal Wedding invite seems to have got lost in the post.
Lola has been getting excited about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day for weeks now. In fact, her school was having a Royal Wedding tea party for the kids. Unfortunately, Lola may have got her intel mixed up as she believed she would actually be attending the Royal Wedding.
Lola’s Royal Wedding Plans Have Taken A Turn
Ashlee Brown, Lola’s mother, managed to film the conversation with her daughter. Lola seems a little confused then starts crying and rambling when she realises she won’t be in attendance at Meghan and Harry’s big day.
At one point, Ashlee tries to explain to Lola that you have to be royalty to go to the wedding. When Lola asks what that means and Ashlee explains that it means princes and princesses will be going, Lola asks the kind of question that’s hard for a parent to get around.
“Am I not a real princess?!”
Thankfully, Ashlee managed to style out her answer quite successfully, “You’re mine and daddy’s real princess” she quickly answered.
Luckily, Lola got over the wedding she sadly wasn’t invited to and had fun watching the big day on TV.
Phew, that could have been a real nightmare of a tantrum. This 5-year-old just wanted to be part of the festivities, thankfully, she got to watch it all from the comfort of her living room with flags and her very own princess dress.
