We’ve all seen police departments across the USA taking part in the lip sync challenge. But now it appears it is the fire department’s turn. The Greenville Fire Department accepted the challenge from the Paris Fire Department and they made a video that is tough competition for any future challengers.
The Greenville Fire Department in Texas put their heads together to come up with a lip sync challenge submission that would make all others pale into insignificance. Instead of choosing one song, they chose four songs to wiggle and mime to. The songs lead you through a typical fire fighter’s day, beginning in the training room and ending with a celebration of a job well done, after a particularly hot and steamy call-out.
Songs such as Flo Rida’s ‘My House’, LMFAO’s ‘Gurl look at that body’ and Kenny Loggins’ ‘Danger Zone’, lead us through the firefighting team’s day. It’s safe to say that it’s a pretty steamy affair as the firefighters spray themselves down with water and dance.
Most women out there can barely believe their luck that firefighters have started getting in on the lip sync challenge. I think we’ve all been waiting for the moment when some hunky firemen would start hosing themselves down for our viewing pleasure.
I love the lip sync challenges purely because they are a brilliant way to show a lighter side to the workforces who do some of the most daring jobs. Our firefighters and police departments work hard every day to keep our communities safe. So it’s great to see them enjoying themselves and raising community spirit in a lighthearted way. Especially with all the bad media coverage, it is important to remember that there are many good people out there making a difference in a positive way.
This awesome mashup is the feel-good video you needed to see today. Prepare yourself for the ‘wiggle’ section…
