We’re all familiar with Pixar films, they have put out some of the most highly rated animations in the last two decades, but thire latest offering from their new sparkshorts program is sure to leave you with a tear in your eye.
The short film was directed by Rosana Sullivan and produced by Kathryn Hendrickson and follows a stray, big-eyed kitten roaming around a neighborhood, looking to find shelter in a cardboard box. He then meets a pitbull that has suffered abuse from his owners. This is surely highlighting the stereotype that pitbulls face, and showing that they do have good hearts, perhaps unlike some of their owners.
One Twitter user wrote:
“As a pitfall and cat owner, the relationship seems about right, especially the kitten. Beautiful message and great video as always”
The short story is beautifully drawn and animated, and many viewers have compared it to the Studio Ghibli style of animation, which is totally different than what you might expect from Pixar, but it’s none the less amazing, to say the least.
You can watch the incredible short film below and if you enjoyed it please share it with your friends and family. 🐝
