Every dog has its own personality. All dog owners know this. In fact, everyone who has ever seen a dog, or a film with a dog in, know this. Some are calm, some energetic. You get angry dogs and happy tail-waggers. But, the cutest dogs are grateful and kind ones. Like this particular pooch who held his new owner’s hand the entire way home from the rescue shelter.
Stanley is a rescue dog and loves to be around people every minute of every day. Sam Clarence was a volunteer dog walker when he first saw Stanley. However, he knew that Stanley would never make it in a foster home, and would be what is known as a “foster fail”.
But, Sam also knew that he would be the perfect new dad for him. Stanley had a rough life, so was understandably nervous at first. He was skittish and scared, but his shyness soon wore off. He grew to love his foster dad.
So, Sam adopted him. And the most beautiful moment happened. Stanley held Sam’s hand the entire way home. It was like he knew he was going to a nicer home. Luckily, Sam managed to snap the moment on camera, too!
Nowadays, the pair are still inseparable. Stanley always wants to be touching Sam, from when he’s driving to when he’s sleeping to when he’s watching TV! They have the cutest relationship ever.
Stanley has finally found a happy home, and a hand to hold and guide him through. And Sam has shown incredible kindness to adopt such a troubled pup. He has been rewarded with the most beautiful partnership.
