When the Voices Of Hope Children’s Choir first auditioned for ‘America’s Got Talent’, they weren’t able to convince Howie Mandel to give them a ‘yes’. However, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Mel B all loved their first performance.
The kids originally performed the modern power anthem “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman and they had successfully managed to win over the audience.
But now, the 70 kids from Orange County are back to win a spot on the live shows. They’ve upped their game from the last performance and their choir director promised they were “more tight and solid on the vocals” – she wasn’t wrong.
Voices Of Hope Children’s Choir were ready to sing “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana to earn a spot on the live shows
This time they’d really nailed it all. The kids performed with such confidence, their vocals were tight and they all looked like they were having fun.
The audience stood up and began applauding after a powerful key change. They remained on their feet for the rest of the song. They truly put on a show that got the whole room going.
All the judges were thrilled and Howie even said how impressed he was with their performance. They commended all the children for their passion and dedication as well as the choirmaster for the brilliant performance she got out of the children.
Ken Jeong who was the guest judge on the show then interrupted the praise by going straight for the golden buzzer.
From all of us to all of you!
