When Eric O’Gray was diagnosed with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and, to top it was told he only had 5 years to live, he decided something had to change. He went straight home and called a nutritionist in the hope that they might be able to help save his life. At first, he couldn’t believe the advice that he was given but it changed his life completely.

The thing he was told to do was to go to his local shelter and adopt a dog, which is exactly what he did. This is where he would meet Peety, who changed his life forever.

An inseparable bond between the two was formed as he would walk Peety every day. With the help of the extra exercise and his nutritionist, he lost over 140 pounds in the first year. His companion Peety also managed to lose some weight in the process.

Eric is now fit and healthy and even no longer has type 2 diabeties, all thanks to his amazing friend Peety.
