Most children singing songs on YouTube tend to cover Disney tunes and recent pop hits. The last thing that you would expect a 5-year-old to be singing is a Frank Sinatra classic, but all that little Sophie Fatu wants to sing is songs by her favourite artist.
In her latest video, adorable Sophie belts out the Sinatra hit, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, and she looks like she is enjoying every second as she dances and smiles her way through the song.
Sophie’s mom, Victoria Fatu, regularly puts videos of her talented little girl on her YouTube channel and her followers eagerly anticipate her song covers. Victoria is an award-winning singer and pianist herself and the talent clearly runs in the family.
The song, originally written in 1954 by Bart Howard, is a classic that is a popular tune in jazz clubs. When Frank Sinatra released his version of the song, it shot to the top of the charts and is still one of his most popular releases to this day.
Sophie clearly takes her inspiration from the late crooner and loves singing with the same passion that he had. Watch the great video below and share her infectious performance with your friends. 🐝
