Shortly after Rosie moved into her new home, she began to notice flowers being left on her doorstep. It looked like Rosie had a secret admirer as her porch continued to grow in the number of beautiful flowers left for her. But upon further investigation, her secret admirer wasn’t who she would have expected…
Rosie lives on a street of terraced houses with a garden path running along the back – the perfect way for a secret admirer to travel between the gardens to leave gifts.
Initially, Rosie assumed it was the wind blowing the flowers onto her porch until one of her housemates caught the culprit in the act. One day, Rosie was cooking dinner when she noticed the culprit jump down on to the porch with a flower in their mouth. Grabbing her camera, she managed to film her admirer in action.
It turned out that the neighbor’s cat, Willow, was her secret admirer. The adorable feline had been bringing her floral gifts as a token of her affection and appreciation for Rosie’s kindness.
For a while, It was just a legend that it was her until yesterday when I was cooking and spotted her jumping down with a pink flower in her mouth. I was so excited that I went to film it because she’s so cute and I’d never seen a cat ever bring back anything but dead animals before.
Rosie first met Willow shortly after she moved into her new house when she walked along her hallway and found Willow sleeping there like she owned the place. Whenever they had their glass doors shut, Willow would meow at the window constantly until they let her in for a cat nap.
It appears that Willow does this to a lot of the neighbors, as some tenants keep cardboard boxes for her to sleep in and leave cat food and treats around their houses. Willow loves the attention from her neighbors.
Willow rules over about six of the gardens, and I’m pretty sure she gets fed by everyone because she’s very difficult to say no to.
Willow has visited Rosie almost every day since she moved in and she walks straight into her house like she owns it. But Rosie doesn’t mind; she loves little Willow (and it would appear that Willow loves Rosie too, if her gifts are anything to go by). The porch looks like a romantic setting with all the petals strewn everywhere.
Rosie has been receiving the pink flowers since the beginning of spring and the number of flowers grows every day.
She clearly likes us because she steals flowers from (her owners) and leaves them on our deck. It was at least ten flowers before we realized it was her.
Nobody can say that cats aren’t affectionate. Little Willow loves her neighborhood friends and shows them how much she appreciates their care and attention through her floral gifts. Maybe she has seen humans giving each other flowers and she figured out it’s the perfect way to show appreciation…
Thanks to her cute gifts, Willow has secured herself a place in Rosie’s home, including her own spot on the couch.
