You’ve got to mind your tongue when speaking around your children, they’ll notice a curse word or a bad habit from a mile away. But if you encourage them with positive energy, your kids can learn excellent life skills.
When one mom attended a CPR class with her baby girl in tow, she wasn’t expecting her little girl to pick up on what she was learning. In fact, in just one lesson, the little girl was pretty much up to speed with the rest of the class.

The mother’s jaw dropped when she saw her little girl walking over to the CPR dummy to test out her newly learnt skills.
Mom thought her little girl would be doing her own thing while she learnt CPR as she couldn’t get a babysitter before heading to the class. But at the end, the mom noticed the little girl eyeing up the dummy.
I have to say, we were pretty impressed. The first thing the little girl did was head over to the CPR dummy to give it chest compressions. The baby performs CPR like a true pro!
After doing the chest compressions, the little girl gave the dummy mouth-to-mouth. She was clearly paying close attention to her mom’s tutor. I have to say, I think this is a good thing that this little girl went along.
More young people should be taught CPR and other medical skills like the recovery position. Sure, maybe not at this age, but there’s no harm in starting them out young. They could end up saving a life one day!
