On the 10th of August during a Major League Baseball game, an unlikely event occurred involving a ball of fluff that stole the show and the internet is going wild.
The game was in full swing at the Busch Stadium between the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals until one of the players suddenly pointed at a pitch invader.
A rogue stray cat hurtled into the stadium and somehow made its way onto the field.
Everyone soon realised that the small kitten was making his way to the outfield and it definitely tickled some of the players on the field.
The crowd erupted with cheers as they were both shocked and entertained by this feline interruption.
As he scampered closer to the centre fielder, Lorenzo Cain, he exchanged eye contact with the player then quickly ran towards the stands.
It took one of the stadium employees, Lucas Hackmann, to try and rescue the stranded stray cat from the baseball field. The boisterous kitty put up a bit of a fight but all was saved and now both of them have become internet hits. #RallyCat
Thankfully, after this rambunctious cats TV debut, he was rescued and is now being cared for at the St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach and he is well on his way to finding a loving home.
